Val Geisler was getting ready to ramp up FixMyChurn.com, but her former illustrator wasn’t answering emails, and Val needed 5 new illustrations in the same style before she could launch her site and marketing materials.
Emily met with Val over video chat to learn about the business, Val’s goals, and desires.
Before any drafts were sent, Emily provided a sample showing she could emulate the current illustration style with new concepts.
Val gave Emily concepts to illustrate, but how the concepts were shown was open-ended. This allowed for some creativity and collaborative brainstorming between Val and Emily.
